Beautiful Wedding Shoes Quatrefoil Card Tutorial

Hi It’s Christina here and today I would like to share with you these beautiful wedding shoes as an addition to your cards.

Spellbinders Supplies:

S4-610 Ladies Shoe
S4-609 Gents Shoe
S5-268 Quatrefoil Card Front
S4-611 Inviting Words
SEL-006 Horsehair Embossing folder

Other Supplies:
White, Black and Gold card
Black Twine
Resin Flowers

Instructions:

Fold a piece of A4 card in half along the long side and then trim it down to measure 4 x 8″ as a top folded base card.
Hand trim a piece of gold card as a mat .to leave a small border around the edge.
Repeat this with another panel of white card and emboss this in the folder.
Layer these onto the base card.

Die-cut two pieces (one in gold and one in white) from Quatrefoil Panel Outer Die.
On the white panel, place Quatrefoil Panel Inner Die and CUT with the Platinum™ Machine to create a lace pattern into the card.
On the Gold panel, place Quatrefoil Panel Inner Die and EMBOSS only to impress the pattern in the card.

Line up these two pieces together with the white on top and it will give you a quilted look to the panel.
Add foam tape to the back for dimension and add to the centre of the base.

Cut the pieces you need from the Ladies Shoe set. Make the top layer and inner sole of shoe in pretty patterned paper.
Fold the top of the shoe along the score lines and glue the back flaps together leaving a space to insert the sole part into the toe.
Fold the bow and add a small resin flower to the centre of the bow.
Add the ankle strap with a small touch of glue to the back of the shoe and add another small resin flower.

Cut the gents shoe in black and layer with foam pads between the layers to give dimension. Add black thread as laces.
Arrange both shoes as you would like them onto the Quatrefoil panel.
Add the word of your choice from Inviting Words and there you have a really pretty card. Change the colours to suit the wedding theme.
