A Golden Hello Scrapbook Page

Using the Yellow, Teal, Coral Pop of Color Kit (introduced in Aug 2016), I decided to create a 8.5 x 11 inch scrapbook page. So many different components in this kit that you can make cards and pages. This is what I came up with…

This is a pile of SOME of the kit material – I couldn’t fit them all in the picture! LOL! I like how the patterned papers were positioned so I left them as is… I wanted to keep the same color combination so I cut the red patterned paper to use as a photo mat. Using a pen, I light marked where I wanted to cut. With the E-Z Runner Grand, I adhered the papers together carefully without shifting the paper around too much and then adhered to the light yellow cardstock. Trim the excess using a paper trimmer. Keep the extra for another project. Set aside and let’s work on the photo mat. Figure out how you want to place your gold HELLO and heart on the mat. Use the glue dots in the kit to adhere them but I used my “go to” adhesive dots – Adhesive Dots Small and Adhesive Lines. Set aside. For the upper right corner, I adhered the ribbon tail tag with Adhesive Dots 3D but you can use the glue dots in the kit – just double them up to create height. Push tag into the dot so that the twine loop can be adhered when pushed into the opening with the Tool ‘n One. With another Adhesive Dots 3D, I placed my teal flower on top of the tag and placed three different sizes of yellow enamel dots to finish. Stamp sentiments from the kit with the provided teal ink pad and acrylic block on to two tag die cuts. To keep with the gold accent, I added a gold brad to one of the tags.   Add the tags to the upper left corner of the photo mat. Finish the corner off by adding yellow enamel dots. Adhere the mat to the page and add washi tape.
