Jane Davenport Artomology | A “Glance” is All it Takes | Arting with Kimball Davis
Here we are again! Kimball here, excited to bring you my final Artomology post! Portraits are one of my favorite things to do so, of course, I saved this for my last entry. The reason I love creating faces is because the slightest changes can create a whole new person, emotion or story. This time it’s all about the eyes. Instructions: Step 1 – I started off by using Jane’s INKredible Inks to add a splash of color to the background. To get the ink flowing, I use Jane’s mister bottle to wet the page before splashing down colors. Knowing this was a portrait, I made sure to use a…

Jane Davenport Artomology | Journaling Spread with Cindy Guentert-Baldo
Hi everyone! Cindy here, sharing my third and final project using the Jane Davenport Artomology Collection. One of the things I’ve been incorporating into my bullet journaling lately has been memory keeping, so I thought it would be fun to show you how create a journaling spread using the same colors and collection. This spread is not water themed, but I did incorporate the same colors as the other two projects. Keeping to an exact theme all month can seem limiting, but there are ways (like using the same colors or a specific element) to keep everything cohesive while mixing it up a little. I love using pictures in my…

Jane Davenport Artomology | Dream catchers with Zsoka Marko
Hello crafty friends, Zsoka is here and I’m back with my third and last blog post in my Jane Davenport Artomology series! If you’ve missed the previous two, you can find them here and here. For today’s post I’ve made a scrapbook layout and a card using the Fair Feathers Etched dies. The idea is the same on both, a dream-catcher. Besides the dies I also received a couple of other products from this collection, and I really didn’t want to waste them! There are two packages of washi sheets (Washi Girls and Washi Mermaids) and with amazing designs that would make stunning art journal pages, but since I don’t…

Jane Davenport Artomology | Cardmaking with Sunflower Journal Dies with Enza Gudor
Hi everyone! Enza here, and thank you for joining me. This is the second of three blog posts I’m sharing this week showcasing the fabulous Jane Davenport Artomology die sets. You can find the first post here. Today I have a set of cards featuring the Sunflower Journal Die set. The first card is a shaker, which was inspired by the size of the sunflower. I love how big it is! I started by die cutting the flower directly from a card panel that I had previously trimmed to measure 4×5.25”. I then backed the opening with a piece of acetate cut to size, and applied foam tape all around…

Jane Davenport Artomology | You Are Unique Mixed Media Card with Flóra Mónika Farkas
Hi Ladies! It’s Flóra Mónika Farkas back on Spellbinders Blog. In today’s post I will feature the stunning Mermaids Washi Sheets from Jane Davenport Artomology collection. Both sheets are incredibly beautiful. They remind me of fairy tale books. Actually this gave me an idea to create a little undersea world scene on my card. I cut out an A2 size piece from one of the Mermaids Washi Sheets and adhered on a white cardstock. I fussy cut out a gorgeous mermaid and jelly fishes, then added them on cardstock and turned them into die cuts. I like to leave a thin margin around the cut out images. With this little…
