Hello everyone, this is Yana Smakula sharing another cardmaking video tutorial.
Today I’d like to show you a mixed media background card featuring several products from Seth Apter. I used one of Seth Apter embossing folders to create a vibrant background for this encouragement card.
First I stamped the embossing folder design onto watercolor paper with the help of gelatos (just like I did in this video here) and later dry embossed identical design (I made sure to offset it) for a one of a kind look in my Platinum die cutting and embossing machine.
You can by all means stamp and emboss the design at the same time, but I wanted to make sure stamped and embossed impressions would not match, so this is why I first stamped and later embossed.
White cardstock; Watercolor paper; Distress paint and ink; Water spray bottle; Ink blending tools; Gelatos; Enamel Dots; Clear stamp (Simon Says Stamp – Uplifting Thoughts); Clear embossing ink; White embossing powder; Heat tool; Glue; Foam adhesive.
Learn how you can make this project by watching the video below.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, have fun die cutting!
