Art Nouveau Autumn card
Hello everyone, Yvonne here!
Today I´m creating a card in European Art Nouveau Autumn colours using some of Stacey Caron´s gorgeous and brand new Art Nouveau die-templates.
The card is all about backward layering, giving the card depth.
Spellbinders Products Used:
S4-671 Art Nouveau Sea Life Accents Stacey Caron
S6-098 Art Nouveau Belle Epoque Stacey Caron
PL-001 Platinum Die Cutting and Embossing Machine
Other supplies:
Cardstock (cream, grey, brown, green, gold), self-adhesive pearls (green), glue, foam tape, Ink pads (black, silver), sentiment stamp, paper trimmer, scissors, tweezers
Instructions:
1.Cut/emboss Art Nouveau Belle Epoque from dull gold cardstock. Use the Tool ‘n One to remove the left over die-cut pieces from the die-template.
2.Trim grey cardstock to size 5½x7½” and cut/emboss Matting Basics A #5 (with #1 being the smallest die-template) exactly in the centre of the piece of cardstock.
3.Glue golden frame upon using foam tape.
4.Trim brown cardstock to size 5⅞x7⅞” and cut/emboss Matting Basics A #6 exactly in thecentre of the piece of cardstock.
5.Glue behind grey frame using foam tape.
6.Trim cream cardstock to size 6⅛x 8⅛” for the card base and stamp sentiment in the centre.
7.Glue cream cardstock behind the brown frame using foam tape
8.Cut/emboss/stencil Art Nouveau Sea Life Accents # border from green cardstock using a silver inkpad for stencilling. Glue upon card base using foam tape.
- Finish the card using self-adhesive pearls.
Thanks for stopping by and wishing you happy crafting!
