Guest Blogger: Debi Adams, Wild & Free Holiday
Hi everyone! If you haven’t had the opportunity to check out my new line “Wild and Free”, today is the day! You can see it all here but since I am a guest blogger, I thought it might be nice to show you a different way to use these dies and stamps. I took just a few of them and created holiday cards and gift wrap. It wasn’t very difficult to turn these dies and stamps into Christmas decor. I changed a few colors and added Christmas sentiments and wa-laa! Honestly, these are some of my favorite colors, especially aqua! Who says Christmas can’t have a different color combination? I suppose I’m a 50’s girl at heart.
The dies I used to create the above projects are:
Wild and Free-Cacti Die and Stamp Set by Spellbinders™-SDS-030
Wild and Free-Tribe Vibe Set-SDS-032
Wild and Free Tribal Borders-S4-682
Here’s a closer look at each one…
I used the banner to create a scallop at the bottom of this card.
And that tribal border works perfectly as a ribbon. I love doubling two pieces of card stock together especially when one is glitter paper.
**If you are considering making any of these projects, here is my list of supplies you will need:
Spellbinders™ Platinum, Platinum 6 or Prizm Machine: PL-001, PE-100, PZ-100
Pink, Aqua, White and Green Cardstock
Patterned Cardstock of Your Choice
Twine
Red, Pink and Aqua Ink
Red Glitter Paper
Ribbon-Satin and Sheer
Mini-Pinecones
Fine Gold Cording
Markers or Distress Ink (for shading purposes)
So hoping you find a project or two you like. Let me know if there is something you would like to see as well! Always happy to help.
XO,
Debi
