Merry & Bright Christmas Card with Rouge Royale Collection – Video Tutorial

Hello everyone, this is Yana Smakula sharing another cardmaking video tutorial.

Today I’m creating a layered Christmas card featuring Rouge Royale collection from Stacey Caron. I love the elegant look of these dies and I am combining several to create my project.

The size of the finished card is 6 1/4″ square. I rarely make cards that are this big, but I wanted to make sure I’d have enough space to help the dies shine on this project.

I started by die cutting two panels using the largest dies from the 6×6 Matting Basics A and B sets – one out of kraft cardstock and one out of patterned paper. Next I layered the wreath-like die cut from the Royal Florish set and I cut this one twice – first out of kraft and second time out of silver foil cardstock. I offset the kraft one over the silver to help it pop on my card.
