Hi friends! Did you know that Spellbinders now carries a selection of stamp and coordinating die sets? We began introducing them in March of 2016. Today I want to show you a card I created using the Beauty & Elegance stamp and die set. Because the dies line up with the stamps, you will be able to cut the image out perfectly every time with a lot less work and better yet, no scraggly edges.
To create the card above you will need the following supplies:
White Card Base
White Gel Pen
Black Permanent Ink
Sequins of Your Choice
Acrylic Stamp Block
Trim blue cardstock to 1/2″ smaller than the white card base.
Starting from the top of the blue cardstock, create an ombre look using blue ink and a blending tool. Swirl half way down card base.
Attach blue cardstock to glittered paper and trim edge to 1/8″.
Stamp floral stamp three times onto blue paper using a deeper blue ink pad. Die-cut floral pieces using coordinating die.
Stamp and die-cut floral piece onto white cardstock using black ink. Watercolor images with watercolor brush.
Stamp and die-cut oval using gold embossing ink and embossing powder onto white cardstock. Use distress ink to add a light shade of blue to image.
Adhere the three, blue floral images to center area of card.
Adhere the oval to the center of the card, overlapping the top of the blue floral images.
Tear a strip of whitecard stock. Stamp and emboss sentiment using gold ink and powder.
Attach embossed strip to the bottom of blue card stock.
Tie gold twine around blue and gold portion of card.
Stamp and die-cut swan using black permanent ink and watercolors.
Attach Swan to card using foam dots.
Tie two bows from white ribbon and adhere to bottom of swan.
Adhere watercolored floral piece to bottom of swan.
Attach sequins to card.
And that is it. Hope you will check out more of our stamp and die collections. Some sets are stamps with coordinating dies while others are dies but have stamp sentiments. All of them have everything you need to create your style of cards. Thanks for stopping by
