We are counting down the days to Creativation 2017 (Craft & Hobby Assoc. Trade Show) here in Phoenix Arizona! Not everyone can make the event so why not bring some of it to you. This week, we are featuring Designer Days to introduce our licensed designers for 2017 – some whom you know and some who are new, so stay tuned! Today, we continue with one of our newest licensed designer, Marisa Job!

Describe {Marisa Job} in three words.

Joyful – Encourager – Creative

What were some influences that helped shape the collection?

Nature is a great source of inspiration for me when I design dies to create flowers. I also like to design 3 dimensional projects like boxes, flowers, layers and pop-up cards. My new designs for this collection combine these elements to create original projects.

Where is your favorite place to create or get inspired?

My favorite place to create is in my craft room. I like to have all my tools handy and organized. I also like to be in my office where I have my computer, graphic design programs and electronic cutter for testing my designs.

What are your favorite, “must Have” pieces in your upcoming collection?

My favorite pieces in this collection are the Tea Light Box and the Flower Top Box. They are both really easy to make with the die sets and they are great as party favors.
