Good Enough to Eat Market Fresh Gift Bag

Hello it is Linda Lucas here today with a project created using the Market Fresh Collection by Debi Adams. We all know Fresh is best so join me as I show you Market Fresh is even better with this adorable gift bag. I am sure you will agree it is ‘good enough to eat’!

Let’s get the fun started…

1. Cut/emboss five Strawberries using red card stock and 5 strawberry tops using green card stock.

2. Sponge the strawberry tops with green ink and use a white Gel Pen to embellish the strawberries.

3. Adhere the strawberry tops to the strawberries using liquid glue.

4. Cut/emboss one Lemon, Lemon Half, Large and Small leaves using green card stock and one stem in kraft card stock.

5. Cut/emboss one Lemon Slice and three flowers in white card stock, use the Lemon Slice Die as a Stencil and sponge the exposed pieces of white card using Bamboo Leaves Ink.

6. Adhere the white Lemon Slice to the Lemon Half using glue and adhere the sponged inserts using glue.

7. Sponge around the edges of the Lemon and the Leaves and Glue the Stem to the back of the Lemon, followed by the leaves to the back of the stem.

8. Adhere the Leaves to the back of the Stem using glue. Glue one Flower to the front of the Leaves and Stem and put the others aside to use a little later.

9. Cut/emboss two (2) Favorably Simple Gift Box (largest die) using Cream card stock.
10. Cut/emboss two (2) Side Closure Die also using Cuddle Cream, score all fold lines inward.

11. Adhere the box bases together, with base flaps overlapping using Cream.

12. Adhere the bottom tabs of the Box Body Die Cuts and add one Side Closure Die Cut to each side to make one whole shape.

13. Adhere ribbon around the middle of the Gift Box, including the flaps using liquid glue. The flaps on the bag fold down and close with ribbon. NOTE: Another option is that there is a disc die that will let you brad down two discs – one on the body with string anchored there and one on the flap so that you can wind the string between the two discs for closure.

14. Attach a double bow, with button and twine using liquid glue.

15. Arrange and layer the fruit onto the gift bag, making sure to pop up some of them using 3D Foam Squares for dimension.
