All That Glitters with the Vintage Elegance Collection

Hi Everybody it’s Christina! Today and I am sharing Braided Grace Square Etched Dies from the Vintage Elegance Collection designed by Amazing Paper Grace by Becca Feeken. This beautiful die set is all you need to create this gold and white card that could be used for so many different occasions.

Let’s get started with my instructions:

Create a 6″ card base from white card. Cut smaller mat in gold glitter card and another white mat to leave a narrow border around each edge Emboss the white mat to add more texture. I used a birthday themed folder.

With the 6″ gold glitter card, place the Outer Border Die (the largest etched die). With the smaller Inter Border Die, place in the centre and cut both. This helps save some of the gold card as in no waste!

Nest the Outer Border and its Inlaid Braid Dies together (secure with removable tape/washi tape), cut with white card. Stamp a small sentiment on to white card and place Looped Square Die over it and cut.

Position the gold glitter and white embossed mats together. Then add the large white die cut over the large gold glitter die cut. Notice the cut out areas are covered and no one will be the wiser. LOL! Wrap these layers with some gold ribbon and secure on the back. Then add to the card base card with foam tape. Using foam tape between the layers gives beautiful dimension.

Tuck the sentiment under a matching bow and dress with flowers of your choosing to the centre panel. I use a hot glue gun to secure my flowers and bow. Add a piece of foam pad under the label to raise it from the card a little. Alter the colours for another look and change the sentiment to suit your recipient.
