How to Make a Simple DIY Get Well Care Package

As the seasons change, those pesky colds and cough are easy to catch. Send a friend extra love and care with a personalized get well care package. Join us for this fun tutorial with Brittany Young, Certified Celebrator, as she creates a DIY care package featuring FSJ stamps and dies.

This gift begins with a glass apothecary jar, or any type of glass container large enough to fit your goodies into. Even a mason jar would work for a collection smaller items like aspirin, chapstick and cough drops.

For a pop of color, add some paper shred along with your get well gifties. Then the fun crafty part – create a coordinating tag and Get Well Soon card using the Get Well Stamp Set and the Polka Dot Wall Stencil. Be sure to watch the short video below to see just how we made this sweet tag and card.

Attach a coordinating ribbon around the jar, add the tag and deliver your thoughtful gift to a neighbor or friend who’s under the weather, or needs some cheering up.

Looking for ideas to fill your Get Well Soon jar? Think about cold medicine or aspirin, cough drops, lollipops, tissues, hand sanitizer, tea bags, chicken soup, crackers, chapstick, and fuzzy socks. What ideas do you have? Share them in the comments so we can all treat our friends and family with some extra care!
