Die-cut heat-embossed cardstock for a stained-glass effect

The Stained Glass Bouquet Collection – Mix & Match with Jean Manis

  • Sentiment: Glimmer foil sentiment with the Heart Melt Sentiments set in Matte Gold on Snowdrift Cut with corresponding die.
  • Card Base & Frame: Die-cut frame from Snowdrift cardstock with the Tulip Trio Etched Dies set with the circle die in the center. Die-cut corner pieces with the Tulip Trio Etched Dies set from Snowdrift Die-cut a circle slightly larger than circle in center from Beeswax cardstock. Adhere circle and corner pieces to the back of the frame. Cut Waterfall cardstock with the square die in the Tulip Trio Etched Dies set. Adhere to the back of the frame assembly. Attach assembly to a 4 ½” card base.
  • Focal Pieces: Heat-emboss with clear powder Snowdrift cardstock on which Distress Inks have been applied. Die-cut rose backgrounds with the Deco Bloom Etched Dies Heat-emboss Rustic Wilderness Embossing Glaze on Snowdrift cardstock. Die cut leaf backgrounds with the Sweet Rondure Etched Dies set. Die-cut the rose overlays with the detail and outline dies in the Deco Bloom Etched Dies set from Snowdrift cardstock. Die-cut leaf overlays with the detail and outline dies in the Sweet Rondure Etched Dies set from Snowdrift cardstock. Adhere overlays to the heat-embossed pieces. Use the detail die of the double-bloom rose to die-cut green and inlay into the assembled double-bloom roses.
  • Final Assembly: Adhere assembled roses and leaves to card. Add sentiment to the center.

  • Card Base & Frame: Die-cut frame from Snowdrift cardstock with the Tulip Trio Etched Dies Die-cut corner pieces with the Tulip Trio Etched Dies from Snowdrift cardstock. Adhere corner pieces to the back of the frame. Cut light-green cardstock with the square die in the Tulip Trio Etched Dies set. Adhere to the back of the frame assembly. Die-cut rondure background with the Sweet Rondure Etched Dies set from Beeswax cardstock. Cut overlay with outline and detail Sweet Rondure Etched Dies from Snowdrift cardstock. Adhere rondure overlay to its background. Attach to frame. Attach assembly to a 4 ½” card base.
  • Focal Pieces: Using the rose outline dies in the Sweet Rondure Etched Dies set, cut roses from Snowdrift cardstock to which double-sided adhesive has been added. Using the leaf outline die in the Sweet Rondure Etched Dies set, cut two sets of leaves from Snowdrift cardstock to which double-sided adhesive has been added. Use the detail rose die to score the division between the bloom and the stem with a pencil. Peel back protective sheet from the stem area and apply green microfine glitter and burnish. Peel back the rest of the protective sheet and apply red microfine glitter. Repeat for the second rose. Apply green microfine glitter to leaf pieces. Die-cut overlays for the roses and leaves with the detail and outline dies in the Sweet Rondure Etched Dies set from Snowdrift Adhere detailed overlays to the glitter pieces. Use the detail die of the double-bloom rose to die-cut green leaves and inlay into the assembled double-bloom roses.
  • Final Assembly: Adhere assembled roses and leaves to card and add sentiment.

  • Card Base & Frame: Die-cut largest frame from Snowdrift cardstock with the largest die in the Deco Bloom Etched Dies Cut Waterfall cardstock with the large rectangle die in the Deco Bloom Etched Dies set and adhere to frame. Die-cut middle frame with dies in the Wistful Window Etched Dies set. Adhere to the front of the frame assembly. Die-cut front frame with smaller die in the Wistful Window Etched Dies set. Cut Waterfall cardstock with the smaller outline die and adhere to back of the overlay. Attach to frame and attach assembly to a 5″ x 7″ card base.
  • Focal Pieces: Apply spray adhesive to Snowdrift cardstock and add clear glitter. Color with green alcohol ink. Apply spray adhesive to pink cardstock, add clear glitter, and color with pink alcohol ink. Die-cut rose backgrounds with the Deco Bloom Etched Dies set from the pink cardstock. Die cut leaf backgrounds with the Sweet Rondure Etched Dies Die-cut the rose overlays with the detail and outline dies in the Deco Bloom Etched Dies set from Snowdrift cardstock. Die-cut leaf overlays with the detail and outline dies in the Sweet Rondure Etched Dies set from Snowdrift cardstock. Adhere overlays to the heat-embossed pieces. Use the detail die of the double-bloom rose to die-cut green and inlay into the assembled double-bloom roses.
  • Final Assembly: Adhere assembled roses and leaves to card. Add sentiment to the center.
