Jane Davenport Artomology | Believe Mixed Media Card with Flóra Mónika Farkas
Hi Ladies! It’s Flóra Mónika Farkas here. I am so happy to guest design at Spellbinders blog. I am going to share with you three different cards today and over the next few days made with the amazing and brand new Jane Davenport Artomology collection. I love the artistic Washi Girl sheets that’s why I grabbed them first. The colors are fresh and the girls are incredibly pretty. I decided to combine the fun washi sheet with the Colorist Stickers. I am a newbie when it comes to coloring but with the Smooth Markers it was super easy to color these foiled stickers. I cut out an A2 size piece…

Jane Davenport Artomology | Take a Deep Breath Mixed Media Card with Mona Toth
Hello everyone, it’s Mona here, thank you for joining me. Today I am featuring The Artomology collection by Jane Davenport. Today I am focusing on using Washi Tape Sheets and Smooth Markers. I love the underwater critters and the used color combo on the Mermaids Washi Sheets so I stepped out from my comfort zone and I built my card only from this product. First I made a 4,25″x5,5″ card base. Peeled off the Washi sheet and adhered the white cardstock to the center of Mermaids Washi Sheets because I wanted to use the “Take a deep breath” sentiment. When it was done I adhered the leftovers to the white…

Zenspired Holidays Inspiration | Just Believe Card with Alexandra Suta
Hi everyone! Alexandra here today from Made by Alexandra sharing with you my final card as a guest designer using the gorgeous Zenspired Holidays collection by Joanne Fink. For my card today I started by stamping this amazing tree from Christmas Joy stamp set using Versa Mark ink and white emboosing powder. I really enjoy watercoloring lately so i took my Winsor &Newton watercolours and coloured the stamped image. I started by adding water to the image until the paper was saturated. Here I used Canson Mix Media paper (but you can use any watercolor paper). After adding water I started adding color to the tree and as I shared…

Die D-Lites Holiday Inspiration | Clean and Simple Christmas Tags with Laurie Willison
Hello Crafty Friends! It’s Laurie Laurie Willison here. I am so glad you are joining me today. Today I wanted to share a variety of tags using the Holiday D-lites Dies. They are the most adorable dies that create amazing dimension when embossed. Today I am using the Reindeer, Santa, Snowman and Christmas Tree D-lite dies. I tend to make lots of tags for gifts at Christmas time and the simpler the better when it comes to mass production. To create these tags, I used the D-lites Santa and Reindeeer dies. The Santa tag was created using a basic tag die along with a Rectangle die to create an embossed…

Video: Creating a Spot Light for Holiday Card with Kelly Latevola
Hello Crafters! Normally, I’m all about the Copic coloring but today’s technique actually focuses on the background. With the holidays just around the corner I think you’re going to find this one pretty fun and useful! When I first saw the Joyful Season Angel from the Zenspired Holidays collection I though she looked like she was descending. That’s what gave me the idea to give her a bit of light to carry her. I started ink blending one layer of various blues. Since I wanted a night sky look I used medium to darker blues and a black. Once I had the first layer down I added a few splatters of…

Video Friday | Copic Colored Holiday Die D-Lites with Nichol
Hello everyone. This is Nichol Spohr and I’m so excited to be sharing a set of three Christmas cards featuring dies from the 2018 Holiday Die D-Lites Collection. I die cut the Die D-Lites Reindeer, Santa, and Snowman Dies from smooth white cardstock and colored in the pieces with Copic Markers before assembling and adhering to a Fancy Edged Oval. The Copic coloring gives these die cuts so much depth and dimension and is a great way to customize your die cuts! The backgrounds for all three cards were created by stamping a plaid background builder stamp on smooth white cardstock with light gray ink and either red, green, or…

Zenspired Holidays Inspiration | Season’s Greeting with Mona Toth
Hello everyone, it’s Mona Toth here, and I am excited to share with you my second post featuring Zenspired Holidays collection by Joanne Fink. Winter is my favorite holiday season and I love the Christmas themed cards very much. I hope you enjoyed my previous post, if you missed it you can find it here. I started working on my project by scoring. I Scored my card diagonally then I Stamped the Season’s Greeting sentiment from the Christmas Sentiment stamp set with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink and I made colored pencil detailing on it. Next I made the bow from the Christmas Candy Canes stamp set with the same technique,…

Zenspired Holidays Inspiration | Beautiful Ornaments with Alexandra Suta
Hi everyone! My name is Alexandra and i blog at Made by Alexandra. Today i am going to share another card featuring the fabulous Zenspired Holidays collection by Joanne Fink. I started by cutting a cardstock panel and then ink blend it using Antique Linen, Cracked Pistachio and Peacock feathers distress inks. When I ink blend I always make sure to tap off the excess ink from my ink blending foam, and using a very light hand to add the ink to my panel. Once the ink blending was done I added some drops of water and let the panel dry. Till the background dries I went ahead and stamped…

Die D-Lites Holiday Inspiration | Christmas Tree Cards with Kimberly Crawford
Hello everyone! Kimberly Crawford back again today to share another peek at the Holiday Die D-Lites. I don’t know about you, but when I get a brand-new set of dies, I cut them right away. That way I can see what they look like, see the size, see the details, see all the good stuff! So often I get so focused on the image (positive cut image) that I forget to take a look at the left-over pieces (negative image). Christmas Tree Die D-Lites are a perfect example of a set of dies that have incredible positive and negative images! The original die cut image is meant to layer together…

Die D-Lites Holiday Inspiration | More Christmas Cards with Enza Gudor
Hello there! This is Enza Gudor, and today I’m back to share a new set of cards showcasing the adorable Holiday Die D-Lites Dies. You can find my first post here. I decided to go with a less traditional color scheme this time: pink and teal, with touches of red and green. For the first card, I used the Die D-Lites Christmas Dies and the Die D-Lites Snowflakes Dies. I started by adhering a 4×5.5” teal plaid patterned paper onto an A2 sized pink dotted paper. I then assembled the tree. I love that this set comes with two dies that allow you to create separate layers and have fun with colors and patterns!…
