Good Vibes Only Inspiration | Watercolored Crystals with Rubeena
Hi, crafty friends! This is Rubeena from A Rare Ruby, and I’m so excited to be a guest on the Spellbinders Blog today. This post is part of a series featuring the Good Vibes Only Collection by Stephanie Low! I have two cards to share with you that will focus on the Crystal Peaks dies. To begin, I die-cut the large crystal die and the large backer die from watercolor cardstock. I wanted to try some loose watercoloring so I looked on Pinterest for watercolor gems as inspiration. I did not worry too much about the shading and where the light would fall on a crystal, but it is a…

Wings of Love Inspiration | Simple Cards with Elena
Hello everybody! This is Elena Salo, I’m back and want to share with you another project where I used dies from the new collection On The Wings Of Love. I played with Borders set of dies and created some intricate and funny backgrounds for the cards. First, I made A2 top folding card base and covered the front panel with double sided adhesive. Then I die cut the same die several times using another shade of purple paper every time I adhered the light purple frames onto the card base and after that I combined all details of different colors together. I die cut “Thank You” sentiment from Phrase Set…

Video Friday | Swirl Frame Cards with Olga
Hi, it’s Olga, today I am super excited to share 2 cards that I have created using Swirl Frame die from the latest On the Wings of Love collection by Joanne Fink. This die is perfect for creating framed cards and it can be both landscape or portrait oriented: The first card I’ve made is portrait oriented. I created a shaped frame card base first and then added an embossed insert. For the focal image I have used a tulip die that is also a part of the Swirl Frame set. The die cuts are colored with Distress Inks and the gold foiled sentiment is attached right on top of…

Wings of Love Inspiration | Love Cards with Elena
Hello dear readers! Elena Salo is here again! I’ve got a chance to play with a new collection of the dies, which was created by Joanne Fink. It is On the Wings of Love. It contains a lot of frequently used sentiments like “Thanks”, “Love “, “Create” and many others which, I think, can add beauty to every card. I also liked the gorgeous alphabet. As for all abstract images, which are in the set, actually it was quite a challenge for me to use them in my projects since I always tried to avoid such items in my cards because I didn’t know how to use them properly. And…
