I love stitching so these types of projects are definitely my favorite and we are always in need of celebrating someone’s birthday so giving a handmade card is a very sweet and thoughtful gesture. Hummingbird Cards 3 Ways with Jung AhSang
Hello crafty friends! It’s Jung here, and I am back with another guest post on the Spellbinders blog. Today, I made 3 cards using the new Hummingbird collection from Bibi Cameron. For my first card, I used the larger Delicate Floral Hummingbirds die set to make a 5×7 card. I started out by die-cutting all the pieces from white cardstock. I cut the 3 flower stamens from mirror gold cardstock. I used different combinations of green ink to ink blend the larger greenery outline, as well as the leaves. Then I used pink inks for the flowers, and a combination of blue, purple, and teal inks for the birds. I…

Shaped Cards with Bibi’s Hummingbirds by Joan Bardee
Welcome! Joan Bardee is here today. Delighted to share 3 colorful, shaped, cards using Bibi’s Hummingbirds Collection, designed by the very talented Bibi Cameron. This collection is very different from what I (and probably you) own. If you are looking for unique and gorgeous, this is for you. The Hummingbird Card Creator die makes an approximately 5” x & 7” card in the shape of a hummingbird. I’m also sharing another card featuring another beautiful product – the Delicate Floral Hummingbirds, which also can make a large, shaped card. You don’t have to make shaped cards with these products, but it adds a wow factor. Making a Shaped Card If…

Hello from Scotland, this is Bibi Cameron here and I’m passing by to share a preview of a new collection designed by me for Spellbinders. Inspired by nature and one of the most magical creatures on earth this collection is called Bibi’s Hummingbirds. I have been always amazed by the beauty of these little creatures that seem to be from another planet! 1,260 heartbeats per minute, the ability to flutter their wings 80 times per second, to fly in all directions, to have a stable flight in extreme turbulence, and to intentionally use the sunlight reflection to alter the look of their feathers…. Hummingbirds are a wonder. Not in vain…

Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back on the blog today to share a couple of projects using the new Victorian Garden Collection by Susan Tierney-Cockburn. The beautiful new floral designs and fun containers in this collection inspired me to create three bright springtime cards for different occasions. Lavender Slimline Card I love the look and smell of real lavender so I wanted to try to make my own paper versions with this set first. Here I added a few floral stems to a pretty blue mason jar along with some leafy fillers for this pretty slimline card for a friend. I wanted to give…

More Masculine Cards Ideas with Toolbox Essentials
Hello, crafty friends! It’s Emily Leiphart here and I’m thrilled to be guesting on the Spellbinders blog, featuring the Toolbox Essentials Collection. When I create sets of cards with a common color theme, I always look at how many colors I would need, then choose my colors accordingly. Once colors are selected, I cut all of the pieces at the same time in every color, then sit down and glue them all together at once. This makes it easy to create several cards at one time with extras for later. If you’re like me and find it hard to make masculine cards, this new collection will make it easy to…
