The Christmas Traditions Collection – Three Takes on the Nativity Scene
Hello crafty friends! It’s Jean here sharing holiday cards created with the Christmas Traditions Collection at Spellbinders. The nativity products in this collection caught me eye, as I vividly remember a Christmas card depicting the Wise Men that I saw as a young child. With that inspiration in mind, I used the Three Kings stamp set and the Rejoice Nativity dies in three different ways. Let’s take a look. A color palette of white, gold, and a touch of silver put the emphasis on the nativity focal point. Create a 4 inches wide by 5¼ inches tall background with Christmas Traditions Paper Pad Attach to A2-size card base. With the…

Using Electronic and Manual Machines Together | Shadowbox Gift Card Bag by Annie Williams
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m happy to be back on the blog today to share a fun and festive gift card bag made by combining digital cutting files with some of the latest Christmas products from Spellbinders. I love the versatility of electronic cutting machines, but often times when they are used with paper crafting the results can look a little flat. By integrating embossing folders, stencils, and dies that layer or even emboss, you can take an ordinary gift bag to the next level. I loved the idea of these shadowbox gift card bags as a fun way dress up an otherwise ordinary gift card exchange…

All Stitched Up in Traditional Christmas Colors with Jean Manis
Hello crafty friends! It’s Jean here sharing holiday cards created with the Merry Stitchmas Collection at Spellbinders. As a cross stitcher, the stitching sets always catch my eye. Merry Stitchmas Collection Inspiration with Caly Person
Hi, Everyone! This is Caly Person with you today! I’m sharing three cards using products from the Merry Stitchmas Collection. I tried to pick a non-traditional color scheme for my cards today using pinks and greens. Gives it softer look and I hope you like these projects! I used standard six-stranded embroidery floss for today’s stitching panels along with some gold thread. You’ll notice the colors I choose are not only in the thread, but also in the cardstock. I started with white cardstock and colored it with Copic markers to match the thread that I used for the projects. For my first card, I die-cut the Diamond Stitch die…
