Flower Garden Inspiration | Botanical Dragonfly Card and More with Zsoka
Hello there, Zsoka back with you today, sharing my second of three blog posts showcasing cards I’ve created with various die sets from the Sharyn Sowell Flower Garden collection! If you’ve missed my first post, you can find it here. I love all colors. If you follow me on Instagram you know that I don’t like white space. Well that’s not entirely true, I actually love white on white on cards, but generally I will go with colors. For today’s cards I went with one of my favorite colors, cobalt blue. I call this cobalt blue but I might be totally off! Anyway, this shade is my absolute favourite. The last couple of…

Die D-Lites Inspiration | Hip Llama Card with Laurie
Hello Spellbinders fans! This is Laurie Schmidlin back with my second guest post for this month. You can see my first Die D-Lites post here. One of the die sets that immediately caught my eye is the Hip Llama set. Llamas are definitely trending right now and I couldn’t wait to create using this fun die set! I started by sponging the background to create a warm, sunset look. I then splattered the blended ink with both water and ink. After that was dry I used a stencil to sponge on some sunshine rays. To create the herd of llamas, I die cute the llama die seven times out of…

Sew Sweet Collection Inspiration | Simple Cards with Heather
Hello! My name is Heather Hoffman – and I’m thrilled to be guest designing several times this month to share cards using the brand new Sew Sweet Collection from Tammy Tutterow! This collection is full of fun elements for cards and projects celebrating the art of the handmade – my mind first went to handmade quilts and gifts! But I also saw possibilities for other creative uses for this collection, so I decided to start with a couple cards that use these products for perhaps a different use than they were originally intended! To start off, when I saw this sentiment from #Handmade stamps, my mind immediately thought of a very good friend of…

Video Friday | Inlay Sketched Blooms with Nichol
Hello everyone. This is Nichol Spohr and I’m thrilled to be back with another guest designer card for Spellbinders this month. I love the look of inlay die cuts and the brand new Die D-Lites Sketched Blooms and Sketched Blooms 2 are fantastic dies to use with this technique. I started my design by stamping a text background stamp on Bristol smooth cardstock with Versamark Ink, heat embossing with white embossing powder and then inking over the text with Distress Oxide Inks in Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, and Twisted Citron.
