Jane Davenport Artomology | Weekly Planning Spread with Cindy Guentert-Baldo
Hi everyone! Cindy here, sharing my second project using the Jane Davenport Artomology Collection. After doing the underwater cover page I was really excited to experiment with a similarly themed weekly layout. I decided to do a basic vertical weekly layout, using a technique my friend Michelle Baxter (@quirkyheart on Instagram) loves to use – masking off the days and then inking. I lay down masking tape to keep the days clean (ish – working with ink is rarely neat!) and then used the same technique I used yesterday to spread the Squid Ink Hybrid Inkpads all over the page. When I was done, I used some of the Jane…

Jane Davenport Artomology | Journal Cover Page with Cindy Guentert-Baldo
Hi everyone! My name is Cindy Guentert-Baldo, otherwise known as @llamaletters all over the internet. I do planner, bullet journal and lettering videos, so when I was asked to play with Jane Davenport supplies for the Spellbinders blog, I just knew I wanted to create some bujo appropriate spreads. I will be using the new Jane Davenport Artomology collection to demonstrate some simple, approachable ideas for you to incorporate into your planning and journaling. Today we are starting with a cover page for the month! Each month I do a cover page in my bullet journal – this serves two purposes. The first is to mark the start of the…

Hello everyone! This is Mayline and I am honoured to be guest designer for the Jane Davenport Artomology collection. This collection is incredibly beautiful, and pretty. So I truly enjoyed. Today I am sharing three cards with you. Let’s take a look at my first card! Here is my first card: To start off, I stamped a sentiment and girls image from Friendship Clear stamp set using Squid Ink Cave Black on 4 1/4 by 5 1/2″ A2 300g watercolour paper. I coloured images using watercolour paints and set aside. Next, I stamped flower images from Poppy Girl Clear Stamps set with Squid Ink Cave Black ink on another watercolour…

Jane Davenport Artomology | Creating a Quick and Colorful Bookmark with Kimball Davis
Hey everybody, Kimball Davis here! I’m a digital artist by trade but I was recently introduced to Jane Davenport and have since become a big fan of her and her art supplies. I was invited to do three blog posts and I’m thrilled to share with you a few exciting products from her new Artomology collection with Spellbinders. I wanted to create something simple, colorful and fun that anyone can do, with a focus on the stamps and Squid Inks from the new line. Instructions: Step 1 – Cut a piece of smooth Bristol board to the size of your desired bookmark; a popular size is 2×7” but you can…

Jane Davenport Artomology | More Cardmaking Inspiration with Enza Gudor
Hello, everyone! Enza back with you to share my third and final post showcasing the Artomology collection by Jane Davenport. You can find the other posts here and here. This set of cards features the Mermaid For Each Other and the Sea Flower Etched Die Sets. For the first card, I created a background with the wave border die included in the Mermaid For Each Other set. I cut it several times out of different shades of blue and teal patterned papers, that I arranged from lightest to darkest to achieve an ombre look. I also added some pink tulle behind the waves for texture, and machine-stitched everything in place…

Jane Davenport Artomology | Floral Mixed Media Cards with Zsoka Marko
Hi there crafty friends, Zsoka back with you today with the second part of my 3 blog post series showcasing the gorgeous new Jane Davenport collection at Spellbinders, called Artomology! If you’ve missed my first post, you can find it here. I have 3 cards for you today, all using the same Sunflower Journal Etched die in slightly different ways. For my first card I die cut two Sunflower Journal flowers from a light pink patterned paper from the Maggie Holmes Willow Lane collection (I actually used this collection on all my cards today). I then backed one of the flowers with 2 different pink patterned papers. I die-cut some stems and leaves…

Jane Davenport Artomology | Colorful Mixed Media Cards with Zsoka Marko
Hello there crafty friends, Zsoka here with you today! I’m super excited to join Spellbinders for another 3 blog post series – this time creating with a very special and unique collection, Artomology, by the one and only Jane Davenport! Now if you know my work, you know that I actually rarely do mixed media, but I was super intrigued by the metal dies because they are so different from what I normally use! A totally different style for me, that is fantastic for art journals, but I was up for the challenge to come up with projects that are still my style. I hope you’ll like them! I personally can’t wait to see…

This die set includes four different sizes of feather shapes, perfect to give movement and a more natural look to your projects. I decided to use the feathers to create a wreath, so I die cut them from a variety of patterned papers using the super cute Deep Sea Die Cutting and Embossing…

Jane Davenport Artomology | Crafting with Jane Davenport Markers with Angela Tombari
Hi friends! It’s Angela Tombari back here, thank you for joining me. I have a fun project to share with you using the Jane Davenport Artomology collection. Today I am focusing on the use of Markers on an alternative surface, a piece of fabric! As you can see from the photo I created two pouches that I intend to use for my art supplies. The first pouch size is 7 inches square and the markers fits perfectly inside. I love the vibrant colors and how it turned out. The Markers are alcohol based, they work well on fabric and can resist soft washing. To make the pouch I started drawing…
