Jane Davenport Artomology | Deep Breath Mixed Media Card with Flóra Mónika Farkas
Hi Ladies! It’s Flóra Mónika Farkas here on Spellbinders Blog with my last card made with the amazing Jane Davenport Artomology collection. Today I will use how I combined the lovely Girl and Mermaids Washi Sheets and show you how awesome to layer them on each other. Even if the two Washi Sheets have different theme, it’s so easy to combine them as they match because of the artsy style perfectly. First, I placed the Mermaids Washi pieces on a white card stock. I cut out a girl face from the other pack and adhered on the top. The washi is a bit transparent so they kind of melt together…

Jane Davenport Artomology | Journaling with Artomology Collection with Angela Tombari
Hello everyone! Angela Tombari back with you today sharing a couple of journal pages I made with the Jane Davenport Artomology collection. You can see my first post here. I think of journaling pretty much like meditation, playing with art supplies and colors is therapeutic, it leaves me peaceful and positively satisfied, no matter the result. Here, I’ve played a lot with colors, especially Jane Davenport Markers and Washi Paper Sheets. I started working on a piece of watercolor paper, coloring big dots with Jane Davenport Markers and a stencil. I used different colors for each dot and then adhered the Eye Candy die cuts. To create dimension, I die-cut…

Jane Davenport Artomology | You Are Unique Mixed Media Card with Flóra Mónika Farkas
Hi Ladies! It’s Flóra Mónika Farkas back on Spellbinders Blog. In today’s post I will feature the stunning Mermaids Washi Sheets from Jane Davenport Artomology collection. Both sheets are incredibly beautiful. They remind me of fairy tale books. Actually this gave me an idea to create a little undersea world scene on my card. I cut out an A2 size piece from one of the Mermaids Washi Sheets and adhered on a white cardstock. I fussy cut out a gorgeous mermaid and jelly fishes, then added them on cardstock and turned them into die cuts. I like to leave a thin margin around the cut out images. With this little…

Jane Davenport Artomology | Take a Deep Breath Mixed Media Card with Mona Toth
Hello everyone, it’s Mona here, thank you for joining me. Today I am featuring The Artomology collection by Jane Davenport. Today I am focusing on using Washi Tape Sheets and Smooth Markers. I love the underwater critters and the used color combo on the Mermaids Washi Sheets so I stepped out from my comfort zone and I built my card only from this product. First I made a 4,25″x5,5″ card base. Peeled off the Washi sheet and adhered the white cardstock to the center of Mermaids Washi Sheets because I wanted to use the “Take a deep breath” sentiment. When it was done I adhered the leftovers to the white…

Cuppa Coffee, Cuppa Tea Inspiration | Mixed Media Friendship Card with Jean
Hello everyone. This is Jean Manis, and I am delighted to be on the blog with a project showcasing the Cuppa Coffee, Cuppa Tea Collection by Sharyn Sowell. I used the collection’s Cuppa Love die set to create a mixed media friendship card. Let’s take a look! To begin, I created a card base by smooshing Distress Oxide Broken China ink on Bristol paper. Once the base was dry, I stamped the sentiment. I die-cut the coffee cup, liquid shape, and accent pieces in the Cuppa Love set from manila cardstock and colored the pieces with acrylic paint. Once the die-cut pieces were dry, I glued the leaf sprigs together…
