The Perfect Match Inspiration | Getting All Mushy with Gemma
Hello everyone, this is Gemma from mygirllollipop.com. I am thrilled to be guest designing on the Spellbinders blog this week. I’ll be sharing projects highlighting the Perfect Match Collection by Debi Adams. My card today features the adorable Getting All Mushy stamp and die set. I was drawn to this set by one of the sentiments. My 3 year old niece is really sweet as she’s always saying ‘I love you so much!’, so I just had to make her a card with the cute mushrooms and fun sentiment. I began by stamping the mushroom images on to a white card base. I did some masking so the middle mushroom would…

It’s no secret I’m a big fan of Tammy Tutterow and this Party stamp and die set is no exception. I thought it would be festive to create a rainbow background to go with the stamp set. I wanted something that would mimic an explosion of confetti. I stamped my Party stamp on both watercolor paper and white cardstock. I needed two pieces to pop up some of my elements. I added some ink blending to the watercolor piece before…

Video Friday | Watercolor Lighthouse with Kelly
Hello Crafters! It’s Kelly Latevola here and I’m excited to bring you something a little different today. As a colorist I frequently hear my subscribers say that they have a hard time knowing where exactly to add shading to their images. Did you know Spellbinders has these stamps that come with the shading already added? They have a whole line of 3D Shading Stamps. I thought this Light House stamp would be perfect to incorporate a little watercoloring. I stamped in an extremely light dye ink so that I could maintain my lines as I painted. I started by painting the ares not shaded by the stamp. I used Daniel…

Sew Sweet Collection Inspiration | Simple Cards with Heather
Hello! My name is Heather Hoffman – and I’m thrilled to be guest designing several times this month to share cards using the brand new Sew Sweet Collection from Tammy Tutterow! This collection is full of fun elements for cards and projects celebrating the art of the handmade – my mind first went to handmade quilts and gifts! But I also saw possibilities for other creative uses for this collection, so I decided to start with a couple cards that use these products for perhaps a different use than they were originally intended! To start off, when I saw this sentiment from #Handmade stamps, my mind immediately thought of a very good friend of…

Handmade Collection Inspiration | Handcrafted Cards with Anna
Hello and welcome back! It’s Anna here and today I’ve got a couple of projects to share with you, highlighting the fabulous Handmade Collection by Stephanie Low. I had so much fun creating these cards: Stephanie’s new collection is just awesome and so inspiring! Kitchen Handmade Card My first card features the Kitchen Handmade set: its images are just perfect for homemade gifts from the kitchen. I started working on this card by creating the background. I used one of the images from the Kitchen set and stamped a custom pattern in two colors on a white cardstock panel. Then, I cut the stamped panel in three parts and mounted them on a card…
