Hello friends! Yana is here sharing a great way to stretch your dies and also showing how to make a simple Father’s Day Card for the upcoming holiday.
Number one reason why I love dies is because of how versatile they are. There are numerous ways one can use dies besides die cutting and today I’d like to show you how you can use even the smallest die and create a custom DIY embossing plate for your crafting.
The green background on my card was embossed using an embossing plate I made from scratch using just cardstock, adhesive and a single moustache die. I also continued the mustache theme and design on my project by including a moustache die cut of brown cardstock.
White, Green, Yellow and Brown Cardstock; Adhesive Sheets and 3D Foam Squares Small (Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®); Glue; Clear Stamps (Altenew – Best Dad); Clear Embossing Ink; White Embossing Powder; Heat Tool; Wooden Stars; Watercolor (for splatters); Wooden Peg
