Guest Blogger: Donna Salazar, Girlie Grunge Tag

Hello everyone! Donna Salazar here with a quick photo tutorial for you.

I’m using one of my new Stamp/Die Combo sets today to show you how easily you can get a detailed stamped image that is cut perfectly to the outline of the image without having to fussy cut. It is so fast and easy peasy that you can add images like these to all your projects!!!

donnaTag1

Begin by stamping your image onto a large shipping tag with a fast drying ink. (Mix’d Media Inx CHOX used)

donnaTag2

You want to make sure that your image doesn’t go off the edge of the tag.

donnaTag3

Line up the die over the stamped image and use some tape to hold it in place.

donnaTag4

One pass through the Platinum machine will easily cut through the tag.

donnaTag5

You can get a perfectly die cut stamped image in less than a minute!

donnaTag6

Color a tag and ink the edges (Mix’d Media Inx CHOX Bluejay and Sparrow used)

Add some adhesive to random areas around the edge of the tag.

donnaTag9

Cut some Girlie Grunge Gauze to random strips and press into the adhesive.

Sprinkle Twinkle Dust Glitter over tag and burnish with your finger into the adhesive through the gauze.

donnaTag11

Remove excess glitter.

donnaTag12

Add 3D Foam Squares to the back of your die cut stamped image and adhere to the front of the tag.
