Maker Moments: This Cute House

Hello and happy Monday!  And if it isn’t, I hope to change that!  Today I am showcasing the adorable die set, Prims.  I love, love, LOVE this set. It’s so clean and simple with so many possibilities however I just made a card using the dies as intended. Next week, I will be changing this up so I hope you will return. It’s sure to be SPOOKtacular!

This card is super easy to make. Just die-cut the images from your choice of paper. *Fun Tip*- Die-cut two pieces of coordinating paper from a particular image, in this case, I did a flower. Cut a portion of the die-cut image in half or thirds. Attach that one portion to the other image. See the pink and red flower above. To create the soft color behind the house, I used a blending tool and swirled blue ink lightly on the white paper then I attached all the die-cut pieces to the base. You can embellish the roof with a white gel pen or stencil the door and star with the blending tool and ink.

Here’s an up close up and personal shot. “Oh” and “hey”…that little banner was made using our Type-Oh Contour die. It can cut so many materials and in such a short amount of time. By the way, did you know we have a gallery for your creative talents to be showcased? Go here to view. I’m ready to see what you’ve been up to!
