Maker Moments: A Taste of the Tropics

Hi everyone! Happy Monday morning :). Hope you are all off to a great start of a great week. I’m so happy to bring you this project today from my new line, “Wild and Free”. From the minute I began sketching, I knew I wanted to incorporate some trendy art into my collection. As you may have noticed, flamingos and palm leaves are in…so, there you have it :). As always, Maker Moments is about making things quickly and easily. I believe these party treats are just perfect in accomplishing that. So, let’s get started.

You will need the following:

Spellbinders® Platinum™ or Platinum 6™ Machine- PL-001 or PE-100

Wild and Free-Tropics-S4-676

Cardstock of Your Choice

Bamboo Skewers

Black Pen

Gold Pen

Glue Gun

Die-cut the Flamingo and Leaves from various colors of card stock. Add touches of gold to the Leaves, if desired.  Add gold to the Flamingo’s legs, beak and wings. Enhance eye with a black pen. Layer Leaves onto bamboo skewer and adhere in place. Attach Flamingo to top of leaves using hot glue.  Attach fruit to skewers as desired.

Ok, so how easy was that? You totally got this. Now jump on in. See what else is in the Wild and Free line by going here.

Thanks for visiting. Hope to see you back here again!

XO,

Debi
