Merry Bright Card

I had the pleasure of creating a Merry & Bright card with the super cute new S2-117 Winter Owl die set.

Green and White Baker’s Twine

Create a 4½ x 6″ base card with green stripes paper. Adhere a slightly smaller piece of burlap paper with tape runner.


Trim and adhere a slightly smaller piece of snowflake patterned paper over burlap. Trim a 1¼ x 5″ piece of red paper, trim ends and adhere.

Cut/emboss Standard Circles LG Die # 6 (the smallest size die is #1) with grey grid patterned paper and Die #7 with brown paper and adhere over red strip.

Cut/emboss Winter Owl dies and layer. Adhere hat and scarf die cuts with 3D Foam Squares for dimension and glue the wing die cut. Trim a small piece of yellow patterned paper and adhere behind owl eyes, add small dark brown enamel dots.

Cut/emboss small leaves from the branch of the Winter Owl set in green patterned paper, adhere over Kraft colored leaves with glue. To finish the card, add small red tag/twine, title tag and red enamel dots. Now it’s ready to send out for some holiday cheer!
