Challenge your creative mind to mix and match different collections to make a project like I did with Debi Adams’ Quite Contrary and Wild & Free Collections. I used her Fearless Stamp and Die Set and Tribal Borders to create this masculine card…what do you think? Hover over the image and see what products I used.
Let me show you how I created this card. On a piece of 4 1/4 x 5 3/4″ navy cardstock, I cut and embossed one of the Tribal Borders Insert Die three times (I cut/embossed four time but didn’t like how the last one looked so I cut it off). Note: to keep them connected, on alternating sides I slide the die on one edge 1/8″ in so it did not cut.
Next, I applied E-Z Dots® Permanent Runner to the die cut because the dots will only cover the cardstock and skip over the cut areas – love how easy it was to apply! Place on top the 5 5/8 x 3 1/2″ Kraft card panel. Using the E-Z Dots®, adhere the card panel to the 6 x 3 7/8″ navy card base. Set aside.
Let’s work on the stamps from the Fearless Stamp and Die Set. On Kraft cardstock, I stamped the pennant shape first with blue ink. Then stamped the sentiment after.
Place the corresponding die template over the stamped image to cut and emboss with my Grand Calibur® Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.
On 1 3/4 x 3 7/8″ patterned paper rectangle, adhere 3/4 x 3 7/8″ navy cardstock strip and place your stamped die cut on top with E-Z Dots Permanent. Wrap jute twine three times and knot twice at the bottom of the rectangle.
Apply 3D Foam Squares on the back for dimension and place on the card front. Finish off by adding sequins with Adhesive Dots Small.
