Holiday Cards Featuring the Winter Wonderland Collection with Carol Hintermeier
Hello! Carol Hintermeier here, and I’m thrilled to be invited to guest blog today! I’ve been card-making for close to 20 years and a fun fact about me is that my very first die-cutting machine and dies were from Spellbinders! That’s another reason why I’m so honored to be invited to Spellbinders’ blog! I have created three cards to share with you using the beautiful Winter Wonderland Collection—one stepped-up card, and two quick and easy cards! I love how the Winter Wonderland die cuts make easy, and yet such beautiful cards! My first card is my stepped-up card where I’ve added some dimensional flowers to create a card for that…

Christmas Gnomes with Jyoti Adhikari
Hello crafty friends! This is Jyoti Adhikari here today sharing my love for gnomes and of course some cards I have created featuring Gnome for Christmas collection. This collection is full of varieties of stamps, dies, glimmer foil plates, and even an embossing folder. I get jubilant about creating cards with gnomes, so I ended up making three cards with, you guessed it, gnomes. Without any further babbling, let’s get to the cards. WISHING YOU PEACE AND JOY/GNOME TREE CARD This card features the Gnome Tree die set. I started by die-cutting the gnomes. I used Spellbinders cardstocks to cut out pieces of the gnome tree. I used Copic markers…

Watercolor Wonderland with Erum Tasneem featuring Winter Garden
Hi there everyone! Erum Tasneem here, and I am thrilled to be a guest here at the Spellbinders blog today, featuring the gorgeous Winter Garden Collection by Susan Tierney-Cockburn. I followed a watercolor theme for my trio of cards here. My Christmas cards are a little different from your typical holiday cards, but that’s alright 🙂 I had an absolute blast creating them. I started by applying water onto watercolor cardstock and dropping a teal color pigment. I used a pan set; you may use any watercolor medium. Next, I spread this around and created drips. I made sure to keep the concentration of pigment towards the upper half of…

As always Susan is offering beautiful designs that will allow you to create from easy compositions to very realistic pieces of artwork. I have three easy Christmas projects to share with you today. 5×7 Ice Skate Xmas Card Perhaps one of my favorites in this release is the oversized Ice Skate die (It measures about 4-1/8 x 3-1/2 inches). Due to its size, I decided to make a 5”x7 “inches card and I kept it simple. I like to think…

Blooming Tree Cards I loved the beautiful new Blooming Tree Glimmer Plate Set, so decided to use this design first. Here I used one of the new Glimmer Foil colors (coming soon!) to create this easy holiday card. Apply White Hot Foil to Fern Cardstock using the Blooming Tree Glimmer Plate…
