Layered Merry Christmas Foliage Stencil How-To
Hello Spellbinders friends, Angela Tombari here, from I Need Confetti blog. Today, I am sharing a fun card technique using the Layered Merry Christmas Foliage stencil. I will guide you in a step-by-step tutorial to create a modern look Christmas card with a beautiful typographic sentiment. Layered stencils are a brilliant invention. For someone like me, not very good at coloring, they make the work much easier. Layered stencils allow you to achieve pro results with little effort. I have to admit that I wouldn’t have been able to create that ombre look of the foliage without layered stencils. Layered stencils allowed me also to create a beautiful 3D effect…

Hi friends, Angela Tombari here, from I Need Confetti blog. Today, I would like to show you the memory keeping project I made using Make It Merry kit. In fact, I used the kit to create a December day by day mini album to document next Christmas. Make It Merry kit contains everything needed to create the album, pages included. Stickers, chipboards, jewels, sequins and two packs full of ephemera and die-cuts are enough to embellish the album and still make several cards. There’s also some foam tape! Now, let me…

Shaped Christmas Cards Made Easy!
Hey there, crafty friends! It’s Leica here, and today I want to share three unique Christmas card ideas with you. These cards are different from the usual rectangular shape. Spellbinders has a great variety of shape dies, and the largest die from any set works perfectly as a card panel. Plus, they fit nicely inside an A2-sized envelope! For all three cards, I used the largest dies from each set. I cut the bigger shape out of colored cardstock and the smaller one out of white cardstock. To add some texture, I ran all the white panels through a die-cut machine using the Vintage Ornaments 3D Embossing Folder. As for…

Stitched for Christmas Card Inspiration with Jung AhSang
Hello crafty friends! It’s Jung here, and I am back with another guest post on the Spellbinders blog. For my projects today, I’m working with the Stitched for Christmas collection. STITCHED POINSETTIA For my first card, I used the Stitched Poinsettia & Holly set, along with the Stitched Starry Argyle background die. I started by die-cutting all of the pieces in the Poinsettia & Holly die set. Then, I added stitching to the die-cuts while I sat on the couch and watched a show. I used red metallic thread for the flowers and berries, and green metallic thread for the leaves. I also die-cut a panel of white cardstock using…

It’s Time to Get Stitching with Stitched for Christmas!
Hello crafters! Joan Bardee here and I’m happy to be back on the Spellbinders blog sharing some holiday cards using the Stitched for Christmas collection. Yes, Christmas! I’ve been crafting long enough to remember when companies would release their Christmas products in November, which never left me enough time to use them. So, I am thrilled to see Christmas in July. Chose a slightly nontraditional Christmas color palette, substituting aqua or teal for green. Note: I made these cards before the sentiments in this collection were available, so I used sentiments from last year’s collections. Warm & Cozy Sweater This card was inspired by all the sweaters my mom made…

Stitched For Christmas Collection – Inking Inspiration with Annie Williams
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back on the blog today to share a couple of projects using the new Stitched For Christmas Collection from Spellbinders. The beautiful new stitching designs in this collection inspired me to create three fun holiday cards with different inking techniques to create colorful die-cuts accented by more subtle stitched details. Poinsettia Window Card I naturally gravitated towards the beautiful florals in the Stitched Poinsettia and Holly Leaf Die Set first. Here I framed a window with my pretty poinsettias and added a foiled sentiment for this elegant square holiday card. I started by cutting white and Fern Cardstock using…
