This is a super easy watercolor technique that will help you learn about how the markers work and create stunning results every time. I have 3 cards to share with you today – the first two use the Karin markers to watercolor die cuts and the 3rd shows how to apply the same method to a BetterPress image (or any image, really). Sweet Cardlets II Collection – Card Inspiration with Annie Williams
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back on the blog today to share a couple of projects using the new Sweet Cardlets II Collection by Becca Feeken. The beautiful heartfelt sentiments and sweet images in this collection inspired me to create three cheerful cards for a variety of occasions. I thought the lighthouse image in the Shine Your Light Glimmer Plate Set was so pretty and perfect for summertime cards. By adding a different sentiment, I created a clean and simple friendship card. Trim a piece of white cardstock to 4” x 4”. Apply Moondust Hot Foil to the bottom of the panel using the…

Stamp Camp Collection by Jane Davenport – Clean & Simple Character Cards with Annie Williams
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m so excited to have the opportunity to share a couple of projects using the new Stamp Camp Collection by Jane Davenport. Many of the striking images in this collection are reminiscent of fashion sketches and this inspired me to create two clean and simple cards that focus on the strong characters that Jane so beautifully illustrated. I couldn’t wait to color the delicate mermaid image from the Glorious Mermaid stamp set and thought she deserved a deep sea to swim around in. This clean and simple slimline card gives her plenty of space to roam, while keeping the focus on her. Cut…

Modern Essentials Inspiration | Quilled Thank You Card Trio with Niki
Hello, and happy Friday! Niki here today from cardstoq.com, and I have a set of thank you cards to share with you. Each one features elements from the Modern Essentials collection, which is now one of my most favorite releases from Spellbinders. The sets coordinate with each other so you can mix and match to suit your project, and they are perfect for creating a professional, clean edge on your cards. I do a lot of floral projects in my crafting, whether I stamp, freehand draw, paint, or create some form of paper sculpture. Making the floral elements is easy, though. The struggle always comes with how to frame the designs,…

Yana’s Foiled Basics Inspiration | Simple Foiled Cards with Bibi Cameron
Hi from Scotland, I hope you are doing well. This is Bibi Cameron and today I’m sharing three simple card ideas using Foiled Basics Collection designed by Yana Smakula for Spellbinders. Yana is not only a very talented and skilled papercraft artist and I’m thankful for her as she introduced me to the word of glimmer! This was a whole brand new thing to me and the first time I used the hot foil system I glimmered everything except the cardstock lol. I guess I was impatient and distracted. Soon I realized that this is way easier than we might with just a bit of practice you will be able…

Hello there! This is Brenda, from MyPaperCut Creations. I am excited to be guest posting for Spellbinders again today! I have three cards to share that showcase the Royal Flourish Glimmer Collection by Becca Feeken!! I absolutely love the Super Chill Paper Pad that was included with this month’s Card Kit of the Month. I wanted to pair the floral and butterfly patterns that with these foil plates are included in that paper pad. I started by hot foiling the largest of the Imperial Adorned Ovals Glimmer Hot Foil Plates onto a floral paper from the Super Chill Paper Pad with Pink Foil. I fussy cut around the foiled oval…
