Pretty Wax Seal Projects Made With All New Wax Beads & Bead Mixes
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m thrilled to be back on the blog today to share a couple of projects using wax seals made with the latest wax bead colors and bead mixes from Spellbinders. The fun new colors and mixes give you so many more color scheme possibilities when adding wax seals to your projects and I was inspired to create two cards and a pretty embellished envelope. Birthday in Blues Card I loved the richness of the new Ink Wax Beads and thought it would be fun to create a monochromatic (mostly) birthday card with all of my favorite blue Spellbinders supplies. Melt Ink Wax Beads…

Fabulous Florals with the Fresh Picked Collection
Hello Crafters! It’s Melody Rupple here and I’m excited to be on the blog today to share a few cards I have created with the new Fresh Picked Collection. I love the modern, contemporary feel of this collection. The Fresh Picked Collection includes 4 floral dies, a sentiment die set, and an embossing folder. I have created three cards with the collection. So let’s get started. My first card features the Fresh Picked Anemones Etched Dies. You can create four different Anemones with the die set and you can use them separately or together for different looks. I die-cut the flowers from Pink Sand, Dahlia, and Wild Berry Cardstocks and…

Graphic Stylized Design with The Fresh Picked Collection
Hello crafters! Joan Bardee here to share some fun colorful cards made with the Fresh Picked Collection. Recently I’ve seen a lot of graphic stylized designs – large florals, fruits, or other images – manipulated so that they fit into a rectangle or other shape like a puzzle. Some describe this design as mid-century modern. You can see examples by checking out my Pinterest page here. In addition, the November Large Die of the Month Towering Blooms is also in that style. The Fresh Picked Collection has that bold aesthetic and I absolutely love it. The collection consists of 4 die sets – Buttercups, Daffodils, Berries, and Anemones. There is…

Hello there! This is Lisa from My Card Trip and I am excited to be a guest again on the Spellbinders blog. Today I am sharing a few ideas for gift wrapping clear acetate boxes using beautiful papers and ribbons and also my own decorations. The Crystal Clear boxes I am using today come in a pack of 25. Not only that but the boxes have been made with a material that won’t brittle or crack…

Simple and Sweet Love Cards with the House Mouse Winter Collection
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back on the blog today to share a couple of sweet love cards made with the new House Mouse Winter Collection. With such detailed and adorable images in this collection, you can keep the other elements of your card pretty simple and still create eye-catching projects! I started by stamping the image and one of the sentiments from the Snuggle Up Stamp Set onto white cardstock using black alcohol-friendly ink. After coloring the image with Copic markers, I fussy-cut it out with scissors and trimmed the sentiment out into a strip. To create the background, I trimmed a piece…

Faux Stitching Ideas To Try with Your Stitching Dies
Hello crafters! This is Lisa from My Card Trip and I am delighted to be a guest on the Spellbinders blog today. I am sharing a fun and simple way to get the look of stitching on your cards, without the need for actual stitching with thread! It is surprisingly easy and very quick to do. Many stitching dies can actually be used without any threads at all, as the patterns are often still really pretty with all the tiny holes. However, you can also add faux stitching with pens to give you a similar look to thread. I am going to be sharing one card in detail today but…
