Hummingbird Cards 3 Ways with Jung AhSang
Hello crafty friends! It’s Jung here, and I am back with another guest post on the Spellbinders blog. Today, I made 3 cards using the new Hummingbird collection from Bibi Cameron. For my first card, I used the larger Delicate Floral Hummingbirds die set to make a 5×7 card. I started out by die-cutting all the pieces from white cardstock. I cut the 3 flower stamens from mirror gold cardstock. I used different combinations of green ink to ink blend the larger greenery outline, as well as the leaves. Then I used pink inks for the flowers, and a combination of blue, purple, and teal inks for the birds. I…

Hello crafty friends! It’s Jung here, and I am back with another guest post on the Spellbinders blog. Today, I made 3 cards using the Layered Stencils collection. There are also coordinating dies that will die cut the large sentiment; some even have coordinating dies for a few of the florals. I made all three of my cards in the same way. First, I started out by stenciling the sentiment. I masked off the motifs around it to work on the…

More Masculine Cards Ideas with Toolbox Essentials
Hello, crafty friends! It’s Emily Leiphart here and I’m thrilled to be guesting on the Spellbinders blog, featuring the Toolbox Essentials Collection. When I create sets of cards with a common color theme, I always look at how many colors I would need, then choose my colors accordingly. Once colors are selected, I cut all of the pieces at the same time in every color, then sit down and glue them all together at once. This makes it easy to create several cards at one time with extras for later. If you’re like me and find it hard to make masculine cards, this new collection will make it easy to…
