Traditional Holiday Card with DIY Ice Skates – Video Tutorial

Hello everyone, this is Yana Smakula sharing another cardmaking video tutorial.

It is never too early to start on your Holiday cardmaking, especially when creating beautiful layered cards that require some additional die cutting time.

I am always a fan of Spellbinders Die D-Lites dies as there are a number of fantastic designs that work wonderfully as accents on cards. Today I’m using Holiday Flakes N Skates Dies to create Wishing You Peace This Christmas card.

I die cut the ice skates for this project out of two colors of cardstock – gold foil and red. The gold one was used for the blade part of the skate and red one – for the boot part. I also added white shoe laces by piercing holes in my die cuts with the help of my Tool ‘N One and threading some white floss through.
