Hello, Spellbinders’ friends! Yana Smakula is here with you today sharing some last minute Holiday preparation ideas. Every year when we decore our Christmas Tree I try to include several handmade ornaments. It doesn’t take much to make them and they do look stunning on our tree. Last year, I made embossed holiday ornaments using clay and embossing folders, and the year before that I made adorable little chalkboard tags.
Today I’d like to share a simple idea how to make tree-shaped ornaments using fun foam. When I was working on my Holiday Utensils Holder for the Spellbinders Gallery using new steel rule Three’s a Crowd die I noticed that the pennant shape makes a great little Christmas tree. I took that idea and incorporated it into today’s project, Fun Foam Christmas Tags and/or Gift Tags.
I used different kinds of fun foam – thick and thin, coated with glitter and plain and die cut several elements for my project. I also used additional materials such as glitter, flower soft and enamel dots to decore them.
