Truly Yours Collection Inspiration with Lisa Mensing

Hi, this is Lisa Mensing, and I am so excited to be sharing a few projects featuring the Truly Yours Collection. I love how so soft and elegant this collection is. I settled on pinks and orange, with silver to add a touch of bling, while the kraft card stock adds some much-needed contrast.

I love that you can mix and match each set in this collection and create one-of-a-kind looks by simply using your favorite glimmer plate to add a fun design to the skirt, the swan’s wings, even the bouquet wrapper.

• Using the Woven Glimmer Plate foil a piece of kraft card stock with Glimmer Hot Foil – Brass, then run through the die-cut machine with the bouquet wrapper die.
• Die-cut kraft card stock using the Essential Classic Label Etched Dies.
• Die-cut multiples (10x) the blooms, bloom centers, and stems from the Bouquet of Flowers Die Set out of white card stock; die-cut the bow and heart (1x) out of white card stock.
• Die-cut the Elliptical Ovals Etched Die out of white card stock.
• Color blooms, large bloom centers, and stems using alcohol markers.
• Create floral bouquet inside wrapper securing each piece with liquid adhesive.
• Wrap bouquet with bouquet wrapper and glue the wrapper closed around stems.
• Add bow, color heart with a metallic brass pen.
• Using black ink, stamp the sentiment onto kraft card stock, from the I’m Here for You Stamp Set, and die-cut with the coordinating medium Sentiment Strip Die.
• Layer all items onto a 4.5″ square card: Essential Classic Label Etched Die (kraft), Elliptical Ovals Etched Die using foam adhesive (white card stock), center floral bouquet and secure to the card using liquid glue, add sentiment using foam adhesive.

Kraft Card Stock, 110 White, Foam Adhesives, Liquid Adhesive, Brass Metallic Pen, Alcohol Markers, Versafine Onyx Black Ink

• Foil an A2 card base (white card stock) using the Essential Glimmer Label Plate and Glimmer Hot Foil – Silver.
• Foil the sentiment from the Mini Sincere Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plates and Die Set using Glimmer Hot Foil – Silver onto white card stock; die-cut with Medium Sentiment Strip Die.
• Die-cut kraft card stock using the Ring Around the Circles Etched Die.
• Die-cut Paper Couture Dress skirt and top from white card stock.
• Die-cut hanger, belt, and bow from silver card stock.
• Color skirt and top using alcohol markers.
• Assemble Paper Couture Dress including hanger using liquid adhesive.
• Layer all items onto the foiled A2 card base using foam adhesive (skip the dimension by using liquid glue or tape): Ring Around the Circles Etched Die (kraft), center assembled dress, add sentiment banner.

• Foil using the Essential Glimmer Classic Label Glimmer Plate and Glimmer Hot Foil Silver onto white card stock and die-cut using the Essential Classic Label Etched Die.
• Foil sentiment from the Mini Everyday Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plates and Die Set using Glimmer Hot Foil – Black; die-cut with coordinating medium Sentiment Strip Die.
• Die-cut swans, beaks, flowers, flower centers, leaf out of white card stock.
• Die-cut wings and bills from kraft card stock.
• Die-cut flower centers and crown from silver card stock.
• Color beaks, flowers, and leaves using alcohol markers.
• Assemble swans and crown using liquid adhesive to the die-cut Essential Label.
• Arrange color flowers and leaves around swan using foam adhesive, add the sentiment.
• Secure to a 4.5″ square card base using foam adhesive (skip the dimension by using liquid glue or tape).

• Foil the sentiment from the Mini Sincere Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plates and Die Set using Glimmer Hot Foil – Silver onto white card stock; die-cut with Medium Sentiment Strip Die.
• Die-cut Laurel Frame, Cameo, Bow, Ribbon, Flowers from white card stock (4x) from the Cameo Etched Dies.
• Die-cut Laurel Frame, Leaves, and Flower Centers (one for each flower) from Silver card stock.
• Die-cut the cameo from kraft card stock.
• Die-cut Oval 3 from the Elliptical Ovals Etched Die Set, cut decorative trim off, color with alcohol markers: layer Laurel Frame starting with white card stock pieces and finishing with silver card stock over trimmed oval using liquid adhesive; set aside to dry.
• Layer die-cut cameos starting with white card stock finishing with kraft card stock; set aside to dry.
• Layer ribbon and bows, color with alcohol marker; set aside to dry.
• Color flowers using alcohol markers; add silver centers using liquid adhesive.
• Center Laurel Frame on the card base using liquid adhesive.
• Add cameo to the center of Laurel Frame using liquid adhesive.
• Add ribbon and bow to cameo with liquid glue, arrange flowers on Laurel Frame, secure in place with liquid adhesive.
• Add sentiment with foam adhesive
