Paint Your World with Vicky Papaioannou

Hello my crafty friends, it’s Vicky Papaioannou here and I am super excited to introduce to you my latest collection with Spellbinders – Paint Your World! It’s a collection very close to my heart as it includes paintbrushes, paints, a palette and a lot of little elements to dress them up. A collection of whimsical paint brushes!

I wanted to create a collection of dies that would help you put together creative paint brushes, that paint anything you can think of … from butterflies to flowers!

The paint brushes on the sets are different both in terms of design and size. So if you get more than one set you will not get duplicates. Keep in mind that you get a die that cuts out bristles. The more of those you use on your paint brush the fluffier it gets!

Painted Blooms Etched Dies

Let’s start with the Painted Blooms etched dies. This was what inspired the whole collection. I wanted a big paintbrush, close to the real size with a flower bouquet growing from the handle. A paintbrush that is a great focal point on larger projects and really makes a statement. You can put it together as a normal paintbrush with the bristles but you can use the large leaves instead. Combine bristles with leaves and flowers for a really unique look. The size is big, about 6 ½ inches when you put it together making it perfect on top of a slimline card but also for other projects too. You can always trim off a part of the handle to fit it on a standard size too.

If you want a smaller size of paint brushes the next 3 sets give you so many options. You can easily fit more than one on a card.

Artful Brush Etched Dies

You can’t have a paint brush without paint! In this set you will get along with your paint brush a really unique paint drip die. Use it to decorate your brush or use it on your own to create really colorful and unique projects!

Butterfly Burst Etched Dies

This die set gives you a paint brush with many different butterflies! There are so many different designs and sizes of the butterflies plus you get extra detail layers for the larger ones. Have your brush paint butterflies or decorate it with them!

Artful Tulip Etched Dies

This is the cutest of all the sets! How adorable are those little tulips? You get two layers for the tulips to make them easily dimensional and the leaves allow you to create a bouquet growing from the handle. It’s a smaller version of the first larger set but again you will get different designs on the leaves, the brush and the flowers.

Painter’s Palette Etched Dies

There are so many elements packed in this set! You get the big palette, this is designed to fit on top of an A2 card but you can also use it to create shaped cards. Then you get all the blobs of color as well as a paint brush and a paint tube.

Paint Your World Sentiments Clear Stamp Set

Last but not least a sentiment stamp set, to compliment the collection. It’s all about color, creativity and rainbows! You will find 10 sentiments all in a combination of a small typed font and a larger handwritten font for that extra something on your projects.

These are brilliant. Not only are the shapes lovely but the interchangeability is so thoughtful. The embossed lines are the design choice that puts these over the top in my view. Those make Vicky’s dies so much more than just cut images. The details are wonderful. Next, her samples are (as always) delightful and she makes it so easy for us to follow along. A wonderful and encouraging teacher. I always look forward to her designs. The hardest part is figuring out which to buy, or perhaps more like in which order to buy these.

You are such an imaginative, creative artist. I always enjoy your video presentations which are concise, informative and on a level all can understand and learn from. I appreciate you give ways to overcome any oops that occur, which happen to all of us; but you show us helpful ways to creatively overcome them. Cannot wait to see what you do in April!

Oops, I forgot to mention your tips are always spot on. This video had many great tips. The ones that stood out to me were: the one about the placement of paint brushes to make sure they fit inside envelope; the tip about putting the same configuration on back of paint brushes so they look the same on front of card and when you open card; and my all time favorite how to get many leaves by using a poinsettia die!!!

I loved your tip on using a die like a poinsettia to make single leaves, I used a dahlia flower die, perfect leaves
